Formby Beach Clean Up

On 23rd April, we gave up our Sunday lie-in and volunteered at the Formby Beach Clean up! Our beautiful beaches shouldn’t be ruined by litter and plastic. We helped to collect 116kg of waste from the beach including 365 individual items of plastic!

Careers Fair

On 30th March Sarah Cuerden and Lucy Shepherd attended the Our Lady’s High School Career Fair to talk to pupils about what they can expect from a career in accountancy. Sarah said: “It was great to answer questions from pupils and help them take their next step to becoming an accountant.”

Car Sharing

Not only does car sharing save you fuel money (and we all want that), it also reduces the total miles driven and the amount of fuel used to contribute to a better climate as it protects the ecosystem from dangerous gasses. Rotherham Taylor teams will group up and share lifts as much as possible.

We all know single-use plastic has a huge impact on the environment and it is one of the easiest things we can change to help save our planet. As a business, we are committed to using refillable cleaning products and avoiding using single-use plastics.

Lent

It’s not the easiest thing to do giving up the things we love but our team volunteered to give up or take up something throughout Lent. Our Director Rebecca Bradshaw has given up chocolate, sweets and crisps for the 46 days of Lent.

Archery Open Day

Keeping active and socialising are two of the best things we can do to increase our serotonin levels which contribute to good mental health. On 7th May, Simone Smith ran an archery open day to encourage people to get together and get active.

Bring your dog to work day

It would have been great to bring our furry friends to work on 23rd June but realistically an office full of dogs isn’t very practical! Instead, we will be donated money to our local RSPCA.

Cross Bay Trek

On 30th July, we got out in nature and took on the Cross Bay Walk alongside the friendly team at Lancashire Mind Charity.

Foxton Centre Collection

In December, we will be collecting food and toiletry donations for the Foxton Centre. The Foxton Centre offer invaluable support to young people and the homeless in the local Preston area.
