Job Overview

Do you hold an ACA or ACCA qualification? Do you have strong experience working in an accountancy firm?

We are a growing, friendly accountancy firm in Preston and are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join our busy team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Prepare and submit corporate and personal tax returns.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and help them learn.
• Manage client relationships and answer day-to-day questions.
• Work closely with partners to plan and grow the business.
• Keep up to date with tax laws and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
• At least 1 years’ experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK tax and accounting rules.
• Good experience with cloud accounting software like Xero or QuickBooks.
• Great communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Strong eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
