Who we are

Michael Barton, Chief Executive Sadly, just turned 50, married with two sons, eldest studying Classics at UCL, London and youngest hoping to study Geography at a North American University after “A” levels.

A graduate Psychologist as well as a Chartered Accountant.

Other business interests include being Finance Director of DCD Media plc, a £40m AIM listed, TV and Film Production and distribution business. Chairman of New Hibernia Investments Ltd., a Bermuda based land investment business operating in Argentina, also a Director of the family property investment and management business.

Professional and civic engagements include; non-executive Director of Progress Housing Association with 6,000 + dwellings, Deputy Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Audit Registration Committee, past President of the North West Society of Chartered Accountants, founder Trustee of the BOC Heritage Trust, a registered charity preserving the history of Bristol Cars.

Hobbies include historic cars, learning Spanish, travel and fine art. 
 

 

Simon P L Cox, Director  Simon Cox BA (Hons) FCCA enjoys supporting new and growing businesses in their formative years as well as providing valuable ongoing support for the future. Simon has extensive experience of audit and Corporate tax issues. He has helped new start up businesses raise finance and plan cash flow projections. Simon is kept on his toes by his two young children, and enjoys playing golf.

 

Geoff Tabord, Office Manager, Preston Geoff Tabord has over 28 years experience working with small business in particular sole traders and partnerships. Geoff has one married son and one at University studying Journalism. In his spare time Geoff enjoys visiting heritage reailways , walking, and supporting his local football team. 

Nicola Hardy, Office Manager, Chorley Nicola Hardy MAAT, FCCA has nearly 15 years experience working in practice including working with a wide range of sole traders, partnerships, and audit clients. Nicola likes to spend time with her two young children and enjoys walking and reading.
